About The Position

Hiring Security Professionals for residential complexes in Downtown Miami !! As a Security Shift Supervisor, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more. The Security Shift Supervisor will function as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. Supervise staff on assigned shifts, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment range. Pay Rate: $19/per hour. Location: Downtown Miami Shift: Saturday - Wednesday, 3pm 11pm Prior security supervisory experience required. Join Our Dynamic Security Organization Today!!!

Requirements

Valid Florida Security License D License
Valid Driver's License
A clean driving record
Be at least 21+ years of age.
Required, ability to use a computer or tablet.
Required, comfortable working outdoors in all elements of the weather for the entire shift.
Must be Flexible with schedule. Possibility of Overtime.
The supervisor must be available to cover extra shifts when needed.
Good Attendance and Punctuality is necessary.
Previous Shift Supervisor Experience Required.
Costumer Service Experience.
Must comply with continuous training and active Administrative Work.
Complete Tours and Checks inside and outside the building/truck yard.
Reliable Transportation.
Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.

Responsibilities

Supervise the day-to-day security operations of an assigned client site.
Manage a team of security officers, site and/or shift supervisors including hiring/selection, scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, development, and support.
Ensure the client site is provided with high quality security services to protect people and property.
Build, improve and maintain effective relationships with both clients and employees.
Provide customer service to our clients by conducting safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and, if appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
Must possess effective written and oral communication and people skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the public in a professional and effective manner; must be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
Must be able to frequently prepare written reports and log in neat, legible handwriting.
Must be able to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions.
Intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites.
Ability to manage both common and crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently.
