Responsible for the overall operations and functioning of the Safety and Security Department in providing service, support, protection and assistance with the standard of care to the hospital community by safeguarding and securing the hospital; its facilities and property. As assigned, supervises security personnel; develops work assignments; oversees shift operations; provides feedback and monitors/directs security, parking, communications center, and guest shuttle activities. Interprets and enforces department policies and procedure and serves as liaison for police and fire authorities. Supports, and is responsible for incorporating into job performance, the Frederick Health (FH) mission, vision, core values and customer service philosophy and adheres to the FH Compliance Program, including following all regulatory requirements and the FH Standards of Behavior.
