About The Position

The Service Manager is required to provide overall leadership to Service Department, including the Service and Installation Groups. The job requires that the Service Manager be able to envision long term affects of short-term decisions and policies. The Individual is required to manage and support all Service employees using discretion and judgement and to coordinate all interdepartmental efforts including schedule development and adherence to standards.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years Security /Service Experience.
  • 2-years Management experience within a service organization.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft applications is required.
  • Strong Customer Orientation with a demonstrated ability to manage expectations and satisfy customers.

Responsibilities

  • Manages personnel; allocates and Monitors work, makes decisions regarding employment, training and development, performance appraisals and salary actions.
  • Financial Responsibility for Departmental Budget including Future Projections, Profitability Analysis and Cause and Affect Analysis.
  • Manages Service Administration Process.
  • Interacts with and supports other BCM departments.
  • Develops the necessary Systems required for future growth.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining policies which create positive relations with customers.
  • Negotiates and settles major disputes with customers including billing and quality of service issues.
  • Overall Departmental Schedule approval including vacation coordination.
  • Finalizes all billing processed by the Service Administrator including review and provision of pricing of all work orders.
  • Maintains staffing levels and availability within department.
  • Develops Systems to manage and schedule Service Contracts and Preventive Maintenance routines.
  • Responsible for the sales, pricing, proposal and work order generation for the Department.
  • Acts as Safety Champion for company.
