CA - Part-Time Security Scheduler / Dispatcher (Los Angeles)
About The Position

Our team is built on reliability, accountability, and strong operational execution. We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Security Scheduler / Dispatcher to support our operations team out of our South Gate office. This role is critical in ensuring proper staffing coverage, real-time communication with field personnel, and maintaining operational continuity across all assigned posts.
Requirements
- Prior experience in scheduling, dispatch, or security operations preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and highly organized
- Proficient in basic computer systems and scheduling platforms
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and staffing shortages
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the private security industry
- Familiarity with scheduling software (Belfry or similar systems)
- Knowledge of BSIS requirements and security operations
- Previous dispatcher or operations center experience
Responsibilities
- Schedule and confirm security officers for all assigned posts
- Fill open shifts, call-offs, and last-minute coverage needs
- Maintain daily communication with officers, supervisors, and management
- Monitor attendance, tardiness, and shift activity
- Coordinate with operations regarding staffing needs and changes
- Maintain accurate scheduling records and reports
- Utilize scheduling and reporting systems (Belfry, THERMS, etc.)
- Assist with incident follow-ups and operational support as needed
