About The Position

This position serves as the Program Security Representative for multiple programs and also supports other security disciplines, including personnel and physical security. The incumbent provides day‑to‑day security oversight, support, and guidance to program personnel to ensure successful execution of each contract’s security requirements. The Work: As the Program Security Representative, the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing, implementing, and overseeing each program’s security compliance—including classified visits and related activities. The role also prepares education and awareness materials for employees. Additional duties include, but are not limited to, personnel‑security functions (maintaining employee clearance actions in collaboration with LM Enterprise Security Services) and physical‑security administration services. Requirements

  • Strong background in security management, development, and implementation; ability to maintain comprehensive security policies, procedures, and protocols that ensure compliance with 32 CFR 117 (NISPOM) and other relevant security standards.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and employees simultaneously, ensuring timely and effective completion of security‑related tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Experience providing training and awareness programs on security policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Proven leadership abilities and capacity to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.
  • Experience utilizing and managing personnel and facility actions in DISS, NISS, and similar databases.
  • This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Nice To Haves

  • DCSA CDSE FSO certification for possessing facilities.
  • Prior experience as a Program Security Representative.
  • Familiarity with visitor control processes and procedures, Experience with Open Storage Area construction and certifications.
  • Prior experience with Protected Distribution Systems requirements - plan development, submittals and certifications.
  • Working experience with Personnel Security requirements – SEAD 3 reporting and 32 CFR 117 cleared employee requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and provide security‑related input to business proposals; supply cost, schedule, and government program‑security requirements to capture managers; assist in establishing and operating new classified operations.
  • Support enterprise‑level security projects and assignments as required.
  • Maintain personnel‑security clearances and process adverse information using approved LM tools.
  • Maintain effective relationships with business leadership, functional counterparts, government contracting activities, federal oversight and partnering agencies, and local law‑enforcement entities.
  • Study and implement federal security regulations applicable to company and program operations; develop and execute security programs that protect proprietary information in compliance with corporate policies.
  • Interface with U.S. and foreign government customers to address security concerns, requirements, and compliance issues.
  • Support employees regarding personnel‑security clearances and manage reporting of adverse information.
