About The Position

You will be the Security Rep. Manager for the MFC Security Team. Our team is responsible for safeguarding Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) assets, people, and facilities. What You Will Be Doing As the Security Rep. Manager you will be responsible for leading the MFC Grand Prairie Infrastructure / Facilities Protection Organization and ensuring 24‑hour security coverage. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Direct and oversee the implementation of federal security regulations (NISPOM, DoD Manual 5205.07, ICD 705, JSIG, UL, CFATS, BATFE, AA&E) and ensure continuous compliance. Provide after‑hours emergency support, acting as Incident Manager for the Crisis Management Team to allocate resources effectively during facility emergencies. Lead security staff and contract personnel, guiding performance, training, and career development. Investigate security violations and produce corrective‑action reports to prevent recurrence. Coordinate recruitment, selection, performance assessments, work assignments, and recognition/disciplinary actions for the security workforce. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance with an investigation within 5 years to start.

Requirements

  • Candidate must have an active Secret clearance with a current investigation within 5 years
  • Must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance
  • Ability to collaborate and partner with employees at all levels
  • Proven management experience within the security industry
  • Prior security, military or law enforcement experience
  • Experience with computer software applications related to security
  • Prior emergency response, crisis management or first responder experience
  • Experience with the use of Microsoft Office applications, access control / closed circuit TV applications, Assured Identity, and badging
  • Industrial Security related experience
  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • Must hold or be able to obtain a private security / concealed weapon license
  • Must be able to pass and maintain firearms / range qualifications to include obtaining approval to carry a weapon
  • Must be able to obtain HAZWOPER certification and have the ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time

  • Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment
  • Strong management and leadership skills with excellent speaking and writing skills, influencing, and engagement skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and communication attributes with employees at all levels
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently / project management experience
  • Security report writing skills
  • Experience and knowledge of NISPOM, JSIG, DoD5205.07, and LM policies and procedures
  • Experience with administering and managing automated access control systems / CCTV / and Central Monitoring Station operations
  • Knowledge of Underwriter Lab 2050, NISP, AA&E, and Closed Area construction
  • Be highly organized and have advanced oral / written communication skills as well as working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience in developing and presenting training materials to staff and others
  • Ability to develop or assist in the development of solutions to problems which require ingenuity, creativity, and innovation
