We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation stop-fold aircraft. This position is onsite at our Drive Systems Center (1700 N Hwy 360) in Grand Prairie, TX. Instrumentation Labs In the Instrumentation Labs we provide the various programs decision-quality measurements. In this group you will work with many programs across in a wide range of product life cycles to ensure our aircraft can operate safely and efficiently. You will work with established products like V-22, aircraft that are being tested for certifications like 525, new programs like FLRAA, and the development projects that will shape the future of flight. With a healthy mix of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, we figure out how to get the measurements these programs need and execute those plans. What you’ll be doing as an Associate Technician, Drive Systems Test Lab Build, configure, and maintain the data systems used in the Drive Systems Test Lab Install, configure, wire, and maintain various sensors and transducers involved in these tests, including strain gages, pressure transducers, temperature sensors, encoders, displacement transducers, and accelerometers. Work independently from drawings to fabricate and configure electronic circuits, including wiring harness assemblies. Check out and troubleshoot data systems using oscilloscopes, digital multi meters, and other test equipment. Properly handle and safeguard test components.
