About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Low Voltage Security Project Manager to lead commercial security installation projects from planning to completion. This role involves managing budgets, schedules, contractors, and compliance with industry standards while ensuring quality and safety. The ideal candidate has expertise in large-scale commercial security installation & integration, low voltage & access control systems with strong leadership and problem-solving skills to drive successful project delivery.

Requirements

  • 5+years experience as a commercial construction project manager
  • Strong understanding of electronic security systems, including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and system networking.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings, door hardware schedules, and technical specifications.
  • Must be proficient with desktop computer software and systems.
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications from Security Manufacturer's supplier preferred but not required. Please list on your resume.
  • College degree preferred.
  • PMP preferred

Responsibilities

  • Foster strong customer relationships through timely communication, clear scope understanding, and a service-first mindset.
  • Establish consistent communication with all project stakeholders including customers, contractors, sales, engineering, and internal teams.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, promoting LINX culture and values to build positive team morale and accountability.
  • Review contracts and scope of work, verify design intent with customers, and ensure alignment with project functionality.
  • Validate bill of materials, ensuring accuracy of sold items and identifying additional materials needed to complete the project.
  • Manage project financials by monitoring resource allocation, driving efficiency, and keeping teams informed of budget status.
  • Coordinate field resources and conduct weekly meetings with Field Leaders to ensure staffing, scheduling, and project progress.
  • Conduct project kick-off meetings to set expectations and maintain alignment with customer and stakeholder requirements.
  • Oversee documentation and billing, including change orders, meeting records, monthly billing submissions, and close-out packages.
  • Ensure quality and safety compliance, educating field staff on equipment use and enforcing LINX standards and policies.
