As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a retail location, you will be responsible for regular patrols to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. You will be highly visible, providing customer service and clear communication while supporting a positive experience for everyone on site. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service by assisting visitors, guests, and employees at the retail location.
Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and site management.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed to appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized activities and enhance overall security-related awareness.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or maintenance concerns to site management and/or Allied Universal supervisors.
Support emergency response activities by following established protocols and assisting during evacuation or other emergency situations.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential disruptions and provide a sense of security-related assurance to customers and staff.
