As a Patrol Unarmed professional with Allied Universal at a leading commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service through clear communication and a caring approach. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Observe and report any suspicious behaviors, hazards, or security-related incidents encountered during patrols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits as required by site-specific policies.
  • Complete daily activity and incident reports as directed by Allied Universal policies and site requirements.
