As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you'll be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. You will help to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a visible presence and conducting routine patrols, all while delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations within the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or breaches.
Monitor and report any unusual activity or potential threats to Allied Universal and site management.
Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and contractors at the location, offering assistance and guidance as needed.
Complete detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and/or observed irregularities for Allied Universal records.
Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency personnel when required, following established protocols.
