As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and maintain order at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location. Your duties will involve monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, remaining visible to provide a strong presence, and delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

A Transportation Worker Identification Credential TWIC issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain authorized personnel flow.
Follow site-specific policies and procedures to carry out security-related tasks and respond to various situations as needed.
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by assisting with access protocols and answering questions related to site entry.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any unusual conditions.
Document and report any security-related incidents, irregularities, or hazards according to company and site guidelines.
Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support security-related operations and emergency response activities.
