As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a chemical or petrochemical location, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the security-related needs of the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Monitor for unusual activity, hazards, or potential security-related risks within the chemical and petrochemical location.
Document and report any incidents, observations, or irregularities according to Allied Universal and site protocols.
Support access control processes by observing entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and/or reporting unauthorized access attempts.
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to provide assistance and relay security-related information as needed.
