As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and offering a reassuring presence. This position is primarily a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal's driver policy. You will conduct routine vehicle patrols, remain visible to help foster a secure environment, and provide outstanding customer service while communicating clearly with tenants and visitors. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
Observe and report any security-related irregularities, such as property damage, theft, or unusual activity, to the appropriate contacts.
Communicate clearly and professionally with property management, tenants, and visitors as needed.
Assist in controlling access to the location as directed by site-specific policies.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs of all patrols and security-related incidents encountered during assigned shifts.
