Job Description As a Airport Security Officer in Kahului, HI , you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the safety and security of all passengers, staff, and airport facilities. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, engaging with the public, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- 21+ years of age
- Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
- Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government aviation location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site representatives and/or public agencies as needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of terminals, public areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by post assignment.
- Monitor access points and credential checkpoints as assigned, helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or restricted-area violations, and directing individuals to appropriate screening or assistance resources.
- Complete required reports and logs for patrol activity, incidents, and unusual conditions, and communicate observations to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
