As a Security Professional - Museum Patrol Full-Time in Whittier, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a cultural institution location. Your role includes monitoring assigned areas, assisting visitors, and providing exceptional customer service while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach. This position includes driving responsibilities, allowing you to cover designated areas and respond promptly to situations as they arise. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any unusual circumstances.
Monitor the premises of the cultural institution to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious behavior.
Communicate with staff, visitors, and/or guests to provide assistance and information as needed.
Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and location staff to support a secure environment.
