As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent cultural institution, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining visible throughout the location. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to visitors and staff, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
Support emergency response activities when appropriate, working with site management and/or first responders as needed.
Observe and report any unusual conditions or potential hazards encountered during patrols around the location.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized individuals from accessing restricted areas within the location.
