Requirements

Must have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Help to deter unauthorized activities by conducting regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, both inside the facility and along the perimeter.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Observe and report any irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences within the location.
Document all activities, incidents, and observations according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to address concerns and provide a visible presence throughout the location.
Assist with access control procedures, including monitoring entries and exits for personnel, visitors, and deliveries as required by site guidelines.
