As a Security Professional - Industrial Patrol Driver in Waterloo, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Professional in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This unarmed, primarily driving post involves monitoring assigned areas, responding to situations as they arise, and providing exceptional customer service through clear communication. Requirements

  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required as per client requirements.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report any irregularities or suspicious activities encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location as required.
  • Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or any issues encountered during shifts.
  • Support emergency response efforts by guiding personnel and visitors according to site emergency procedures when situations arise.
