As a Security Professional - Industrial Patrol Driver in Elkton, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a dynamic manufacturing and industrial environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere for everyone on site. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and interact with employees and visitors to provide exceptional customer service. This position requires a valid driver's license as you may be assigned to driving duties on location. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the site.
Help to deter unauthorized activity through visible presence and attentive patrols.
Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols.
Work collaboratively with site personnel and/or visitors to address security-related concerns in a professional manner.
