About The Position

As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol Driver in Ingleside, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will also provide exceptional customer service and communication while supporting a secure environment. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Monitor for and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns within the facility.
Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management as needed.
Document incidents and observations according to site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
Support access control procedures by observing entry and exit points during patrols.
Assist with emergency procedures, including evacuations or lockdowns, as directed by site leadership.
