As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with onsite teams, respond to concerns, document observations, and provide welcoming customer service. Requirements

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage manufacturing and distribution location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying the appropriate contacts per post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or operational concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity as assigned, including verifying identification and/or authorization, issuing visitor instructions, and directing traffic to designated areas.
  • Complete daily activity reports and incident reports, communicate shift updates during turnovers, and support site audits or inspections by providing accurate security-related documentation.
