As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to calls for assistance, document observations, and communicate clearly with team members and site personnel. Requirements

  • Client Requires Proof of HS Diploma/GED.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and/or distribution location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including production floors, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Control access points by checking identification, verifying deliveries and/or pickups, and directing visitors and drivers to the appropriate areas in accordance with site procedures.
  • Complete required reports and logs, document unusual activity, and support security-related investigations by preserving observations and reporting concerns through the approved chain of communication.
