As a Security Professional - Distribution Patrol in South San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a major logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and foster a secure environment. Your visible presence will be key in promoting peace of mind for everyone onsite. You'll interact with staff and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication, while embodying our core values of reliability, teamwork, and integrity. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the logistics and distribution location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Observe and report any unusual activities or incidents encountered during patrols.
- Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
- Interact professionally with staff, visitors, and delivery personnel to promote a secure environment.
- Complete daily activity reports and incident reports as required by Allied Universal procedures.
- Remain alert and attentive at all times while performing patrol duties in and around the logistics and distribution environment.
