As a Security Officer - Distribution Patrol Driver in Dundalk, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your visible presence and commitment to outstanding customer service will support a positive experience for everyone onsite. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license, where you will contribute to a caring, reliable, and innovative team culture. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including business areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
Work collaboratively with site personnel and/or visitors, providing assistance and directions as needed while maintaining a visible presence.
Document all patrol activities, incidents, and observations accurately and promptly according to Allied Universal protocols.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to any security-related concerns or emergencies that may arise during the shift.
