As a Security Professional - Distribution Patrol Full-Time in Ruther Glen, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for staff and assets. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you conduct routine patrols and provide outstanding customer service. You will play a key role in supporting daily operations through clear communication and a focus on teamwork, reliability, and integrity, reflecting Allied Universal's people-first culture.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter.
Observe and report any unusual activity and/or conditions during patrols.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and other personnel on the premises.
Document incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies.
