About The Position

As a Security Officer - Distribution Patrol Full-Time in Lithia Springs, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unacceptable activity.
Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity during patrols and report findings according to Allied Universal protocols.
Assist with access control by observing entry and exit points and verifying credentials as needed.
Communicate with site staff and management to report incidents, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns identified during patrols.
Complete required logs, incident reports, and documentation accurately and promptly as directed by Allied Universal guidelines.
