As a Security Professional - Auto Driving Patrol in Normal, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Requirements

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols inside the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity at the location.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards encountered during patrols.
  • Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and/or contractors at the location to provide assistance as required.
  • Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols related to access control and incident reporting.
  • Remain alert to surroundings and changing conditions that may require a security-related response.
