As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout a dynamic retail environment. This role involves both armed responsibilities and driving duties, where you'll interact with the public, respond to incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Level III Armed Certification required in Texas only.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular and random patrols of the location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual or suspicious behavior.
Carry and properly handle authorized firearms as required for armed security-related responsibilities, following all applicable procedures and protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using de-escalation techniques as needed.
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by answering questions, giving directions, and assisting with site-specific policies and procedures.
Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities, submitting them in accordance with Allied Universal standards.
Follow all site-specific and Allied Universal procedures for access control, visitor management, and emergency response situations.
Communicate promptly and professionally with site management, law enforcement, and emergency services as required.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment for employees and customers.
