As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned commercial real estate locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, responding promptly to incidents, and interacting professionally with tenants and visitors. This armed position requires the proper credentials, and you'll play a key role in upholding Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first while delivering exceptional customer service in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or license as required by state and/or local regulations.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Maintain thorough awareness of surroundings within the commercial real estate location.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or activities in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.
• Interact with employees, tenants, and/or visitors in a courteous manner, addressing inquiries and providing assistance as appropriate.
• Support emergency response and/or evacuation procedures when required.
