As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a government location. Your role involves engaging with the public, responding to incidents, and providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

Have at least one year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
Have at least one year of security-related experience.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor for potential security-related concerns and report observations according to established protocols.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed during incidents.
Maintain accurate and detailed logs of activities, incidents, and/or any unusual occurrences while on duty.
Follow all Allied Universal and client site policies, including use of assigned equipment and adherence to armed post requirements.
