As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a critical role in helping to deter security-related incidents at a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough patrols, maintaining a highly visible presence, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

A minimum of one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations on location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter and/or identify unauthorized activity.
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence as an armed security professional.
Write detailed incident and activity reports to document occurrences and observations during shifts.
Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders as directed by site-specific protocols.
Remain alert and attentive throughout the shift, maintaining readiness to respond to incidents or emergencies.
Comply with all Allied Universal policies, procedures, and training requirements related to armed security-related duties.
