Job Description As a Security Professional - Armed Government Patrol in Auburndale, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting government locations by conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is an armed, driving position where you will interact with others, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly while monitoring the premises. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license from the job state is required and must meet with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least one year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas.
• Report and document any suspicious activities, security-related incidents, or hazards encountered during patrols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when required.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned area to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and training requirements as an armed security professional.
