Requirements

Candidates must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform armed patrols of the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and promote a secure environment.
Follow location-specific policies and procedures while conducting patrols and responding to incidents.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, applying security-related protocols as trained.
Carry out security-related procedures in line with Allied Universal standards and client expectations for government facilities.
Provide customer service to individuals at the location by assisting with inquiries and guiding them on security-related matters as needed.
Document and report security-related observations, incidents, and/or unusual activities according to company and site guidelines.
Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate, maintaining professionalism and composure during critical situations.
