As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols at a government location, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to those onsite. Requirements

An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques and following established protocols.
Observe and report any irregularities, including property damage, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences within the government location.
Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.
Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel as required during incidents or emergencies.
Complete detailed and accurate reports on all incidents, patrols, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal policies.
