As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure learning environment. Requirements

Have at least 5 years of security-related experience.
Possess an armed guard card or armed guard license as required.
Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by performing security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within an educational environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the school property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter potential threats and report suspicious activities.
Assist with emergency response activities as required by the location and Allied Universal guidelines.
Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with company and client protocols.
Collaborate with school staff and law enforcement as needed to support a secure environment for students, faculty, and visitors.
