As a Security Professional - Aero Patrol Driver in Melbourne, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Security Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help create a secure and welcoming environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience are required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any irregularities.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access in accordance with site-specific guidelines.
Document and report any incidents, observations, or unusual circumstances as per Allied Universal protocols and client requirements.
Assist with access control procedures for employees, visitors, and contractors within the aerospace and defense location.
Communicate and interact with site personnel, visitors, and staff in a courteous and professional manner.
Remain alert to surroundings throughout the shift and promptly report any security-related concerns or emergencies.
