Job Description As a Security Officer - Aero Patrol Clearance Required in Melbourne, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a dynamic aerospace and defense location. You will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. Your role includes providing exceptional customer service and strong communication with all personnel. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements
- An active Department of Defense Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related incidents encountered during patrols.
- Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site representatives regarding incidents, observations, or unusual circumstances.
- Assist visitors and employees with inquiries and directions as needed, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior.
- Complete required documentation and reports accurately and promptly as part of daily responsibilities.
