Requirements

Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor access points and verify identification to help control entry and exit at the location.
Assist in maintaining a secure environment by following site-specific policies and procedures related to access control.
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by responding to inquiries and offering assistance as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and irregularities according to Allied Universal procedures.
Support emergency response activities as required by site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
