You will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support staff and visitors with clear communication and timely reporting. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license and meeting Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology campus environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols throughout buildings, common areas, and the exterior perimeter, with working conditions varying by location.
• Monitor access points and visitor traffic by observing entry and exit activity, verifying authorization when applicable, and reporting irregularities per site procedures.
• Operate and observe security-related systems and tools as assigned, such as CCTV and alarm panels, and report maintenance issues and/or unusual activity through approved reporting channels.
