Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Shopping Center in Tustin, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, and store personnel by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and security-related protocols, and by supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and customer concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property management and/or local authorities as needed.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout retail common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
Monitor entrances, high-traffic gathering areas, and restricted locations for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or after-hours access concerns, and report findings according to post instructions.
Assist with crowd management, directional support, and de-escalation during busy shopping periods, special events, and/or emergency situations within the location.
