About The Position

Requirements

• A minimum of 1+ years of security experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge experience is preferred.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, tenants, and/or visitors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking areas, loading areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor traffic as directed, assist with directions and general inquiries, and report suspicious activity and/or policy violations per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and completing required notifications.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident and patrol reports, including documenting observations, actions taken, and/or other relevant details per client and Allied Universal guidelines.
