About The Position

The Security Officer/Parking Attendant at Wisp Resort is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests and employees by patrolling and monitoring the premises. This role includes assisting with traffic control and guest assistance, particularly during peak ski season. The position can be full-time or part-time, year-round or seasonal, and requires flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic English language skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math and analytical proficiency.
• Crowd Management Certificate.
• Unrestricted Driver's License with an insurable driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Previous security experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor premises to ensure safety and security.
• Assist in crowd management during resort events.
• Control the flow of traffic and assist guests as a Parking Attendant.
• Report needed repairs and suspicious activities.
• Communicate effectively with guests and staff using two-way radios and cell phones.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by Resort Management.
• Maintain parking areas and monitor handicap parking locations.
