Security Operations Manager
About The Position
We are a fast-growing security company in Southern California seeking a strong, dependable Account Manager/Site Operations Manager to lead security operations across assigned client sites. This role is ideal for a proven leader who thrives in the field, builds strong teams, and takes ownership of both people and client relationships. This is not a desk-only position. Requirements
- 3+ years of verifiable security experience
- 2+ years experience of supervisor or management of security teams (required)
- Valid California Guard Card (required)
- Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills
- Calm, professional response under pressure
- This is a leadership position that requires full operational flexibility.
- Availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to respond to urgent operational issues on short notice
Nice To Haves
- Armed license (preferred)
- Former law enforcement or military experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Serving as the primary operational point of contact for clients
- Managing staffing levels, schedules, and coverage across sites
- Resolving call-offs, last-minute changes, and coverage gaps
- Providing hands-on field support and filling shifts when necessary
- Training officers and reinforcing company standards and culture
- Developing and maintaining site-specific SOPs
- Supporting onboarding and continuous development of assigned officers
- Partnering closely with executive leadership and HR
- Managers are expected to lead from the front and remain actively involved in daily operations.
