About The Position

The Security Operations Manager oversees client relations and service delivery across multiple Columbus sites, ensuring operations meet or exceed client security expectations and company standards. They partner with HR to hire and train staff, lead and support site managers, supervisors, and officers (including flex officers and area managers), and enforce company policies. Key responsibilities include workforce scheduling, timekeeping and payroll oversight, and conducting quality assurance inspections to drive continuous improvement. This role works a standard day shift (Monday – Friday) and must be available to perform bi-weekly shift inspections. Must be able to remain on-call to meet scheduled and unscheduled service demands. Requirements

  • A valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation. (Required)
  • Possess a High School Diploma or GED Equivalency. (Required)
  • 3+ years of supervisory/ management experience. (Required)
  • Able to successfully pass a state and federal criminal background check.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office products, including: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint.
  • Have a neat and professional appearance.
  • Possess excellent customer service skills (e.g., courtesy, patience, understanding, etc.).
  • Possess excellent written and oral communication skills, including the proper use of grammar, punctuation and spelling.
  • Be willing to work additional hours when asked or directed.
  • Possess the ability to handle multiple tasks/priorities alone and often simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client representatives across multiple sites.
  • Maintain strong, proactive relationships to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Ensure site operations consistently meet or exceed client security expectations and company standards.
  • Partner with Human Resources to recruit, select, and onboard quality hires.
  • Ensure all employees are trained according to established procedures and post orders.
  • Provide guidance and support to client site managers, supervisors, and security officers.
  • Direct and deploy flex officers and area managers to meet coverage needs.
  • Enforce company policies in accordance with established procedures; coach and counsel staff as needed.
  • Develop and manage personnel schedules to ensure coverage and service levels.
  • Oversee timekeeping and payroll activities; approve timesheets and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Conduct regular quality assurance inspections at client sites.
  • Document findings and implement corrective actions to drive continuous improvement.
  • Uphold organizational procedures and standards across all assigned locations.
  • Coordinate day-to-day site operations and provide ongoing operational support to the field.
  • Monitor performance and provide timely updates and reports to clients and company leadership.
