About The Position

As a Summer Intern at Black & Veatch, you will play a meaningful role in addressing some of the world’s most critical infrastructure challenges. Requirements

Current enrollment in Information Technology or related degree program.
All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics or a related major
Effective communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal).
Experience in accessing and analyzing data, preferably through the use of SQL.
Ability to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns in data and produce relevant visualization.
Knowledge and practical use of Python or other scripting languages for data analysis.
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills and the desire to learn.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate leadership and adaptability, with the willingness to take ownership of tasks or projects
Develop project plans with the intention of delivering requires such as resources, timing/milestones, and risks
Achieve goals and success across functionalities
Drive to overcome the most challenging obstacles and look for ways to improve results
Collaborate on projects that utilize generative AI to enhance the capabilities of data-driven reporting and development of AI products.
Assist with the remediation of identified risks.
Gather metrics and investigate variances.
Provide analysis of data found in various tools.
Research and evaluate security tools. Provide detail features of security tools and services.
Assist with ServiceNow Security Projects & Tasks updates
