As a Security Officer - Auto Dispatch Specialist in Normal, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a leading automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, assist with daily operations, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will play a key role in communication, supporting team members and customers while providing a visible presence. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and operate communication systems to dispatch security-related personnel and coordinate responses to incidents within the automotive facility.
Receive and document calls for service, emergencies, and/or maintenance requests, relaying information to appropriate parties in a calm and problem-solving manner.
Maintain detailed logs of all incidents, dispatch activities, and relevant communications throughout each shift.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points remotely and coordinating with on-site personnel as needed.
Collaborate with on-site security-related teams to help to deter unauthorized activity and support site-specific policies and procedures.
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by responding to inquiries and providing information related to site protocols.
Participate in emergency response activities by following established procedures and coordinating communications among relevant personnel.
Support regular and random patrols by directing security-related personnel to specific areas of the location as necessary.
