About The Position
We provide professional physical security coverage and response for Church properties. Respond to disruptive or threatening incidents at Church Headquarters that require the ability to deescalate tense situations. Protect employees, visitors, and guests to ensure a safe and peaceful environment in which the mission of the Church may be accomplished. Finalists must successfully pass a background check and suitability assessment. All together this constitutes a 16 week hiring process. If selected, employment with Church Security would begin July 27, 2026. Continued employment is contingent on successful completion of a six-week basic training course, which includes defensive tactics, OC spray, baton, firearms, and written tests. Yearly salary range is $59,300 to $69,700. For the upper end of this range, candidates must have significant education and experience.
