About The Position

Join our team as a Security and Emergency Services (SES) Officer, responsible for implementing the SES Program under the Supervisor's direction. In this role, you will perform regular property patrols, provide relief staffing at the gatehouse, and respond to non-emergency service calls. We Provide EMR Certified Training! Compensation: $20 per hour How you will make an impact Participate in routine interior and exterior patrols of the buildings and grounds Conduct safety checks and inspections in support of Life Safety and OSHA compliance Receive calls for non-emergency service from dispatch and security by radio or telephone and responds timely and appropriately Respond and assists in Community Emergencies, including but not limited to; fires, floods, severe weather, hazardous materials incidents, bomb threats, and evacuations Create the best initial impression of the community Screen all vehicle and pedestrian traffic entering the community Document all visitors and vendors/contractors and provides proper parking passes, maps, and instructs visitors to park in appropriate spaces What you will need Must be at least 18 years old Current and valid driver’s license Prior experience in security preferred Ability to demonstrate professional and responsive interactions with residents and their family members, staff, vendors, and each other Ability to document daily activities in a clear and concise manner Greenspring is a vibrant 60-acre continuing care retirement community located in Springfield, Virginia , often described as a “cruise ship on land” for its resort-style amenities and engaging lifestyle. Requirements
