About The Position
Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers. Requirements
- Valid Black Seal Certification (required).
- Prior security experience preferred, especially in industrial, commercial, or critical‑infrastructure environments.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to remain composed under pressure.
- Comfortable with extended periods of walking and standing during patrols.
- Familiarity with CCTV platforms and access control systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., pager or phone).
- Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private).
- Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
- Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
- SORA License or able to obtain
